KKM Krav Maga
KKM was founded in 2013 by Chairman Koo Bon-geun, a former special-forces martial arts instructor and the first Asian to earn Krav Maga expert-course certification from Israel's National Sports Institute. Headquartered in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea, KKM now operates a dozen-plus centers worldwide, including here in New Jersey.
Chairman Koo systematized his training as the KKM Ku System — close-combat methods built for South Korean special forces and police units, then re-engineered for civilians. The focus isn't performance or competition; it's survival and avoiding danger in the first place.
Continuous training with the KKM program builds physical strength and, more importantly, the confidence to cope with a dangerous situation if one ever finds you.
