KKM Krav Maga
Officers from Montgomery Township PD and Raritan Borough PD training on our mats — the same system we teach every civilian student.
Official MOU — Special Warfare Command, 2014
KKM's foundation isn't informal. In 2014, Chairman Koo Bon-geun signed an official memorandum of understanding with South Korea's Special Warfare Command, formalizing KKM's role training operators in close-combat, weapon-retention, and threat-neutralization skills. That same curriculum — vetted at the government level — is what's taught in every civilian and organizational class here in New Jersey.
The KKM Ku System was originally developed for South Korean special forces and police, and that close-combat foundation is still at the core of every program we run. Because it's one system with a structured beginner-to-advanced progression, we can scale and adapt it to whatever your group actually needs — from a single workshop to an ongoing training relationship.
We've worked with a range of organizations and groups over the years, adapting the curriculum, pace, and focus to match the setting. We've also hosted police training workshops right here at our own studio in Hillsborough.
Close-combat readiness training adapted from the same system built for South Korean special forces and police units.
Workplace safety and self-defense training scaled to your team's size and schedule.
Custom sessions built around your group's specific needs and experience level.
Every session is built around scenarios that actually happen — edged-weapon attacks, close-quarters grappling, multiple-attacker situations — not choreography. Trainees work live, at pace, with instructors correcting technique in real time.
Tell us about your group and what you need — we'll follow up to talk through a program that fits.
Organizational training isn't limited to a mat in a studio. We've run sessions in dedicated counter-terrorism training centers and out in the field, briefing and drilling trainees on live scenarios — the same range of environments a law enforcement or military group actually operates in. Wherever your team needs to train, the system adapts.
